No Caption On Your Video? I Can't Get Your Content!
February 1st, 2010Over the last several days, many people on Twitter posted links to what appear to be interesting videos. Unfortunately, none of these videos were captionned. I am "only" hard of hearing and mostly have no big issues functioning. But phone calls and online videos are two occurences of giving me a really hard time. Hard to subtitle or caption phone calls. Not so hard to caption videos - if the system you use allows it.

November 28th, 2009I've been needing to caption some videos for a while now. It was not urgent so I delayed a bit. But it is now becoming imperative to be able to caption videos before they are available. My experiments were somewhat frustrating, but I think I finally got it right!

November 20th, 2009I just read that Google will soon be providing automatic captioning of videos on Youtube. That is one of the most significant event for web accessibility in a LONG time. I am very happy to hear that. It will be good for me, and good for many other people as well
