Accessibility statement
Accessibility NZ is dedicated to barrier-free environments. We follow best practices and guidelines and our website should be accessible and usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. However, you may encounter barriers that we did not plan for. If you encounter barriers using the site, please contact us and we will rectify the situation if possible.
Accessibility conformance claim
The site was designed following WCAG 1.0, aiming to meet Level AA conformance and much of Level AAA as well. During development, WCAG 2.0 Candidate Recommendation was released.
On 12 May 2008, all pages at http://accessibility.net.nz conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 at http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/CR-WCAG20-20080430/. Level AA conformance.
- The technology that this content "relies upon" is: XHTML 1.0 (Strict).
- The technologies that this content "uses but does not rely upon" are: CSS2 and JavaScript 1.2.
- The following additional Success Criteria have also been met: 1.4.9, 2.1.3, 2.2.3, 2.3.2, 2.4.8, 2.4.9, 2.4.10, 3.1.3, 3.1.4, 3.2.5, and 3.3.6.
